Our Pet Care Services
When you stop by our office, our team will start with a wellness exam. During the exam, your puppy or kitten is thoroughly evaluated, which will let us learn more about its overall health. We check your pet for fleas and ticks as well as any skin conditions. We will also provide a dental exam and administer any necessary vaccines. If any problems are determined, we will discuss treatment plans that can keep your pet’s health in good shape. Puppy Vaccinations
Our team will let you know which vaccinations may be necessary for your puppy and at what age the vaccines should be administered. The DHLPP vaccine is a core vaccine and protects your pet from distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza. Your puppy will also need the rabies vaccination to protect it from the viral disease.
Kitten Vaccinations
Vaccinations for kittens usually begin when it is around 6 or 8 weeks old. The FVRCP is a core vaccination, which protects the kitten against feline rhinotracheitis, feline calicivirus, and feline panleukopenia. Along with that, kittens will also need a rabies vaccination. Like their adult cat and dogs, kittens and puppies will need to visit our animal hospital for a booster shot to keep him or her protected.
